Introducing the Aluma-DriveShaftCOUPLER

Your dilemma:

You have a truck, van or utility that requires a Driveshaft Disconnect in-order to be towed 4-wheels-down. Unfortunately, your vehicle utilizes a single piece "aluminum driveshaft" that is over 68 inch's long. SuperFlow (a.k.a. Remco) will not supply a single piece steel Driveshaft Disconnect kit for any vehicle that uses a single piece driveshaft 68 inch's long or longer.

Your solution:

  • Don't Tow the Truck!
  • Buy something that is Towable!
  • Crawl under the truck and unbolt the Driveshaft every time you Tow (bad idea)!

OR.........

Southwest Driveline Service can convert your original aluminum driveshaft to accept the Remco Driveshaft Disconnect no-matter what the length of your "aluminum driveshaft" allowing you to tow your truck 4-wheels-down. Your truck will retain its original aluminum driveshaft (modified) and operate exactly as it does now, except towable.

Questions and Answers:

Q: I'm not a mechanic but I know driveshafts must be balanced. Are yours?
A: Absolutely! About Us and our capabilities

Q: Do I have to send you my aluminum driveshaft for modification?
A: Yes! or come to our facility to have the modification done.

Q: I will have to remove my driveshaft and send it to you. How long will I be without my truck?
A: Our turn around is generally within 3 to 4 business days. We of course cannot guarantee the transit time from and to you nor control problems that may arise that are beyond our control.

(opens in new window)

A: Absolutely not!

Q: What do I receive if I purchase the Aluma-Coupler Driveline Disconnect System from you?
A: You will receive your original aluminum Driveshaft (modified) with the Coupler head attached in a "balanced" state. You will also receive the Differential Shifter housing along with the kit components including installation instructions. Your system will be delivered in (2) separate packages one will be your aluminum driveshaft and the other, the Shifter and kit contents. Be aware that multi package shipments can and do become separated during transit. If you receive one package, please give an extra day to see if the other arrives before contacting us.

A: Sorry but, No. We do not place our company in a position that would allow for dishonest credit card transactions. We offer Secure SSL checkout by Visa, MasterCard, Discovery or PayPal (certified).

What's required to get started:

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION COMPLETELY!   IT'S IMPORTANT!

  1. First, there are two simple measurements that are required, if these two measurements do not fall within the requirements measurements then we cannot supply you with a Aluma-Coupler assembly. First, the rear end (at u-joint yoke) of your aluminum driveshaft "TUBING must "NOT" have an outside diameter larger than 5". Second, the rear u-joint cap diameter must "NOT" be larger than 1-3/16"
  2. If your driveshaft meets the above two requirements, then please fill out the form below in it's entirety and send it to us. We need the information you provide in writing.
  3. Remove your driveshaft (we all know about safety procedures) pack it securely and send it to us.
    Southwest Driveline Service
    2490 E 15th Pl
    Yuma, AZ 85365.

We strongly suggest you mark the package boldly with "fragile tubing do not drop bend or dent". Insure your driveline for approximately $800 to $1000.00 dollars. Inform us either by e-mail or phone, that the driveline is on it's way so we can be ready for it's arrival.

Upon Completion of your modification:

  1. Upon completion of your conversion, we will e-mail you with the total price including shipping costs back to you along with applicable sales tax, if any. In that e-mail, you will be supplied with an address to our secure "Custom Payment" page where you can complete your purchase.
  2. Once your payment is verified, your modified aluminum driveshaft complete with the SuperFlow shifter housing, installation items and installation instructions will be shipped back to you complete and ready to install.
